We sadly said good by to New York. there was so much more to see, do and experience and boarded our ship for our Colours of Canada and New England Cruise. I was excited at the thought of seeing all the beautiful autumn colours.
We explored our Holland America ship the Eurodam, which would be home for our ten day cruise back up to Quebec.
Our cabin was the normal cruise ship type cabin and we had a balcony to enjoy and we settled into ship life very quickly, enjoying a delicious first night meal and the ship board entertainment.
We enjoyed a sailing day on Thursday, 17th October and took the opportunity to explore the ship. We were surprised at how many of the passengers were elderly in wheelchairs or used walking frames; however, they enjoyed all the activities the ship had to offer.
We were excited as we sailed towards our first port of call, Boston.
